More than ‘Just Us’?
'Just Us' is a wedding for two package. But, if you would like to invite any additional guests, we can accommodate up to eight people (including the couple and any children).
Guest costs
Day: £49 per guest including ceremony, celebratory glass of fizz, and Afternoon Tea
Stay over: £199 per room, per night, including dinner, bed and breakfast
'Just Us' weddings are available Monday to Thursday.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
If you choose to hold your civil ceremony with us, please note the 'just the two of us' wedding package, does not include the cost of the registrar, celebrant or marriage license. To book a civil ceremony at this Lake Windermere wedding venue, the booking procedure is as follows.
We would first ask that you check that the hotel has availability on the required date. If the date is available we can provisionally hold this for you for up to seven days. You would then need to check that the registrar has availability on the same date and at a time which is suitable to the hotel and yourselves. If this is available you would then make a booking with the registrar and then confirm back with the hotel. At this point the hotel would take a £300.00 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. We would also require you to sign and return a copy of our terms and conditions.
The local registrars are based in Kendal. Their contact number is 0300 303 2472 and they can be contacted Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
